AARC Alumni Education Assistance

Title: The Jean Rosdobutko Schneider Scholarship – Provided by Carol Rosdobutko (the following is information specific to this scholarship, you must apply for this separately from other AARC Educational Assistance)

1. The fund provides awards to Graduates of the Alberta Adolescent Recovery Centre

2. Applicant must be enrolled in a post-secondary institution in the year of the scholarship award.

3. The deadline for applications is January 30, 2012. All applications must be received by the
deadline. If the deadline date falls on a weekend, applications will be accepted until 5:00 pm on
the following business day.

4. Applications must be submitted in person, by mail, by fax, by courier or by email.

5. You will be notified by mail regarding the status of your application.

6. Applicants must submit receipts with completed application.

7. Applicants must submit 2 reference letters.

8. Applicants must submit a 500 word essay.

CRITERIA for Applicants for AARC Education Assistance

Only AARC graduates are eligible. Applicants must submit the 3 items listed below to the Education Assistance Director by the October 15th deadline

All Applicants must submit:

  1. A completed application form
  2. A letter outlining your educational goals
  3. An Account Summary by Term – showing a break-down of tuition, fees, books, etc. (for the year you’re applying in)

DEADLINE each year is OCTOBER 15TH

No Applications Will Be Accepted After The Deadline. Applications can be obtained at AARC or they can be e-mailed out. Contact any AARC Alumni Board Member for more information.

SUBMISSION

Applications can be submitted to the Education Assistance director by e-mail or hardcopies can be left in the Alumni mail slot at the bottom right hand corner of the In-Treatment Parent mail Slots. There will be an envelope marked “Education Assistance Applications” to drop them in and a folder containing blank applications for pick-up.
